Tips for the PLAB 1 exam
Make sure to take your passport, email from GMC, pencil, eraser, sharpener, and a clear water bottle.
Save time by directly recording the answer on the answer sheet, instead of transferring the answer later.
Pick an answer and move on. Do not waste time. Every question is worth the same amount of marks. When you spend too long on a difficult question, you’re taking time away from an easy one.
Go back to a question only if you think spending more time could help you solve it. For example an epidemiology question. Time management is very important so make sure you answer every question even if it’s a guess.
If things are overwhelming, stop and take a deep breath. You have done the hard work. You’ve come this far. You are good enough. You can do this!
